Легендарний шведський хардкор-панк гурт «Відмова» завершив свою історію фінальним концертом у рідному місті Умео. Останній виступ відбувся 21 грудня 2025 року на концертному майданчику «Вевен» і став кульмінацією серії з трьох прощальних концертів, які музиканти дали в Умео. Фінальний концерт, під час якого гурт «Відмова» виконав 21 композицію, транслювався наживо по всьому світу. Завершальним акордом вечора стала пісня «Новий шум» — твір, який вважають одним із ключових маніфестів сучасного хардкор-панку та символом впливу гурту на кілька поколінь музикантів. «Відмова» здобула світове визнання після виходу альбому «Форма панку, що має настати» у 1998 році. Цю платівку й досі називають однією з найвпливовіших панк-робіт останніх десятиліть, а сам гурт — одним із тих, хто радикально змінив уявлення про межі музичного жанру. Після завершення концертів фронтмен гурту Деніс Ліксен звернувся до шанувальників у соціальних мережах, подякувавши всім, хто був присутній на виступах або долучився до онлайн-трансляції. За його словами, події останніх днів стали емоційним підсумком багаторічного творчого шляху колективу. Гурт «Відмова» також оголосив про кампанію на підтримку документального фільму, присвяченого історії колективу та його впливу на світову альтернативну сцену. Прощальне повідомлення Ліксена підсумувало настрій фіналу короткою формулою: «Відмова мертва. Хай живе “Відмова”.» «Відмова» — шведський хардкор-панк гурт, заснований у 1991 році в місті Умео. Колектив став однією з ключових формацій так званої умеоської сцени, відомої поєднанням жорсткого звучання з політично та соціально ангажованими текстами. Refused: the end of an era that changed punk
The legendary Swedish hardcore punk band Refused brought its history to a close with a final concert in its hometown of Umeå. The last performance took place on 21 December 2025 at the Väven venue and marked the culmination of a series of three farewell shows the musicians held in Umeå. The final concert, during which Refused performed 21 songs, was livestreamed worldwide. The closing moment of the evening was the song New Noise — a track regarded as one of the key manifestos of modern hardcore punk and a symbol of the band’s influence on several generations of musicians. Refused gained international recognition following the release of the album The Shape of Punk to Come in 1998. The record is still considered one of the most influential punk releases of recent decades, while the band itself is widely credited with radically reshaping perceptions of the genre’s boundaries. After the concerts concluded, the band’s frontman Dennis Lyxzén addressed fans on social media, thanking everyone who attended the shows or joined the livestream. According to him, the events of the past few days became an emotional culmination of the group’s many-year journey. Refused also announced a campaign in support of a documentary film dedicated to the band’s history and its impact on the global alternative music scene. Lyxzén’s farewell message summed up the mood of the finale with a short formula: “Refused is dead. Long live Refused.” Refused is a Swedish hardcore punk band founded in 1991 in the city of Umeå. The group became one of the key formations of the so-called Umeå scene, known for combining aggressive sound with politically and socially engaged lyrics. Refused’s style is marked by experimentation and a fusion of hardcore punk with elements of post-hardcore, metal and electronic music.
