Масштабний європейський тур хору «Гомін» добігає завершення 4-ма аншлаговими концертами у Відні. Особливим моментом стало спільне виконання Духовного Гімну України разом із українською мецо-сопрано Зоряною Кушплер. Завтра колектив дасть фінальний концерт у Будапешті, підсумовуючи один із найуспішніших закордонних виїздів українського хорового мистецтва за час повномасштабної війни. За місяці гастролей український спів почули понад 20 тисяч глядачів у 19 містах дев’яти країн Європи — від Варшави й Берліна до Парижа, Лондона, Відня та Амстердама. У багатьох містах зали були заповнені вщерть. В основі туру — програма «Цей хор, цей хор мені щоночі сниться», сучасне хорове прочитання українського ретро під орудою Вадима Яценка. Глядачі почули нові інтерпретації пісень Володимира Івасюка, Анатолія Горчинського, репертуару Квітки Цісик і Назарія Яремчука. Одним із культурних феноменів 2024 року «Гомін» зробило вірусне відео з виконанням пісні «Цей сон», яке в TikTok зібрало понад дев’ять мільйонів переглядів. Після цього квитки на концерти у Львові розкуповувалися за лічені хвилини. У 2024 році хор дав понад сто концертів у більш ніж двадцяти містах України — саме цей успіх відкрив дорогу до європейських гастролей. Окремий вимір туру — благодійний. На кожному концерті збирають кошти для Сил безпеки та оборони України. Разом із платформою TEATR.org.ua триває збір «Народний гомін» на 10 мільйонів гривень для закупівлі 50 автівок для військових. Серед несподіванок туру — стрімкі розпродажі квитків у кількох європейських містах і щирі спільні виконання українських пісень із залом. Фінальний концерт у Будапешті стане символічною точкою великого європейського етапу хору «Гомін».
Homin Choir concludes its European tour with a major charitable impact
The large-scale European tour of the Homin Choir is coming to an end. Tomorrow the ensemble will give its final concert in Budapest, concluding one of the most successful international tours of Ukrainian choral music during the full-scale war. Over the past months, more than 20,000 people in 19 cities across nine European countries have heard Ukrainian songs — from Warsaw and Berlin to Paris, London, Vienna, and Amsterdam. In many cities, the concert halls were completely sold out. The tour was built around the program “This choir, this choir haunts my dreams at night,” a modern choral reinterpretation of Ukrainian retro music conducted by Vadym Yatsenko. Audiences heard new interpretations of songs by Volodymyr Ivasyuk and Anatolii Horchynskyi, as well as works from the repertoire of Kvitka Cisyk and Nazarii Yaremchuk. Homin became one of Ukraine’s major cultural phenomena of 2024 after a viral video of their performance of the song “Tsei Son” gained more than nine million views on TikTok. After that, tickets for concerts in Lviv sold out within minutes. In 2024, the choir gave more than one hundred concerts in over twenty Ukrainian cities — and this success opened the door to the European tour. The tour also has a strong charitable mission. At every concert, both in Ukraine and abroad, funds are raised to support Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces. Together with the TEATR.org.ua platform, the “Narodnyi Homin” campaign is collecting 10 million hryvnias to purchase 50 vehicles for the military. Among the tour’s surprises were lightning-fast ticket sell-outs in several European cities and heartfelt joint performances of Ukrainian songs with the audiences. The final concert in Budapest will mark a symbolic conclusion to this major European chapter of the Homin Choir.
