У суботу 1 червня о 8.30 біля підніжжя Ейфелевої вежі вивантажили п'ять трун із написом «Французькі воїни України». Зловмисники накрили труни французьким прапором. За фактом інциденту, поліція заарештувала трьох людей. Підозрілий вантаж привіз мікроавтобус з болгарською реєстрацією. Після цього учасники акції пішли геть. Після обстеження вантажу, поліція знайшла у трунах мішки з гіпсом. Прокуратура Парижа розпочала розслідування за фактом умисного насильства, вважаючи це інсценування «психологічним насильством». Слідство спрямувало свої дії, зокрема, на виявлення можливого іноземного втручання.
French investigators see a trace of foreign interference in the Eiffel Tower incident
On Saturday, June 1, at 8:30 a.m., five coffins with the inscription “French soldiers of Ukraine” were unloaded at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The attackers covered the coffins with a French flag. Police arrested three people over the incident. The suspicious cargo was delivered by a minibus with Bulgarian registration. After that, the protesters left. After examining the cargo, the police found bags of plaster in the coffins. The Paris prosecutor's office opened an investigation into the fact of intentional violence, considering the staging to be “psychological violence.” The investigation is focused, in particular, on identifying possible foreign interference.
