З 1 грудня 2025 року у Франції розпочинається Сезон України «Le Voyage en Ukraine» — одна з найбільших культурно-гуманітарних ініціатив останніх років, що триватиме до березня 2026-го. Програма охопить близько 50 подій у різних містах країни та об’єднає митців, інтелектуалів і представників громадянського суспільства України та Франції. Офіційне відкриття відбудеться в Парижі на сцені Théâtre de la Ville за участі першої леді України Олени Зеленської та представників французької і української культурної еліти. Протягом чотирьох місяців у Франції проходитимуть театральні прем’єри, виставки, дискусії, концерти та публічні зустрічі, присвячені темам прав людини, пам’яті, боротьби з дезінформацією та ролі культури під час війни.
Однією з центральних подій у столиці стане фестиваль «Ukraine, un souffle de liberté», який пройде з 10 по 13 грудня в Théâtre de la Concorde. Зала Salle Joséphine Baker перетвориться на простір зустрічей митців, правозахисників та інтелектуалів з України, Франції та інших європейських країн. Фестиваль реалізується у співпраці з Institut français та Institut ukrainien.
Відкриття фестивалю збігатиметься з Міжнародним днем прав людини. 10 грудня відбудеться публічна дискусія про шлях до справедливого миру за участі правозахисниці Олександри Матвійчук та журналіста Ремі Урдана. Окрему частину програми буде присвячено темі депортації українських дітей. Музичну частину вечора представить піаністка Нора Костенко.
11 грудня програма зосередиться на сучасній українській культурі як інструменті опору пропаганді. Дискусію про роль мистецтва під час війни модеруватиме Володимир Шейко за участі істориків, письменників і культурних дослідників.
12 грудня відбудеться вечір пам’яті української письменниці Вікторії Амеліної, присвячений ролі жінок у війні, свідченні та збереженні історичної пам’яті.
13 грудня фестиваль завершиться показом фільму «Isolation (Izolyatsia)» режисера Ігоря Мінаєва та публічною розмовою з колишніми українськими полоненими.
Поза межами Парижа ключові події відбудуться також у Марселі та Ліллі. Наприкінці січня 2026 року Марсель, місто-побратим Одеси та Києва, прийме міжнародну зустріч представників провідних культурних інституцій Європи на території Friche Belle-de-Mai. Лілль представить спеціальні проєкти у співпраці з митцями з Харкова.
France Launches Large-Scale Ukraine Season: Over 50 Events in Paris, Marseille, and Lille
From 1 December 2025, France will host the Ukraine Season titled Le Voyage en Ukraine, one of the country’s largest cultural and humanitarian initiatives in recent years, running until March 2026. The programme will feature around 50 events in various cities across France, bringing together artists, intellectuals, and representatives of civil society from Ukraine and France. The official opening will take place in Paris at the Théâtre de la Ville with the participation of Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska and members of the French and Ukrainian cultural elite. Over four months, France will host theatre premieres, exhibitions, discussions, concerts, and public meetings посвящені themes of human rights, memory, the fight against disinformation, and the role of culture in wartime.
One of the central events in the capital will be the festival Ukraine, un souffle de liberté, which will run from 10 to 13 December at the Théâtre de la Concorde. The Salle Joséphine Baker will become a space for meetings between artists, human rights defenders, and intellectuals from Ukraine, France, and other European countries. The festival is being organised in cooperation with the Institut français and the Institut ukrainien.
The festival opening will coincide with International Human Rights Day. On 10 December, a public discussion on the path to a just peace will take place with the participation of human rights defender Oleksandra Matviichuk and journalist Rémy Ourdan. A separate part of the programme will be dedicated to the issue of the deportation of Ukrainian children. The musical programme of the evening will feature pianist Nora Kostenko.
On 11 December, the programme will focus on contemporary Ukrainian culture as a tool of resistance to propaganda. The discussion on the role of art during wartime will be moderated by Volodymyr Sheiko with the participation of historians, writers, and cultural researchers.
On 12 December, a memorial evening will be held in honour of Ukrainian writer Victoria Amelina, dedicated to the role of women in the war, testimony, and the preservation of historical memory.
On 13 December, the festival will conclude with a screening of the film Isolation (Izolyatsia) by director Ihor Minaev, followed by a public discussion with former Ukrainian prisoners.
Beyond Paris, major events will also take place in Marseille and Lille. At the end of January 2026, Marseille, a twin city of Odesa and Kyiv, will host an international meeting of representatives of leading European cultural institutions at the Friche Belle-de-Mai. Lille will present special projects created in cooperation with artists from Kharkiv.
